“Office Politics” congers up back stabbing and underhanded actions. Like many things, we tend to only understand one aspect to it and it becomes a universal belief.

Office Politics goes on around us all the time in all settings. We know the negative Office Politics but fail to notice the positive or we put other names on it. It’s risky to ignore or avoid Office Politics.

Office politics is about how decisions are made within a group. The person that has done the best job of understanding, responding and supporting the decision maker, will succeed. It’s that simple.
